Swamp fever

Swamp fever is a colloquial term often used to refer to a type of illness or infection that is associated with swampy or marshy areas, particularly in relation to diseases transmitted by mosquitoes or other insects. It can also refer to a specific disease in horses, known as equine infectious anemia, which is caused by a virus and transmitted by blood-sucking insects.
